CatSci is delighted to announce that our Senior Scientist, Dr David Wong-Pascua, will be presenting a talk at the 2 day online ENBIS Spring Meeting on Data Science in Process Industries on the 17th May 2021.
The exciting event, taking place from 17-18th May 2021, aims to showcase new ideas on industrial statistics. Due to an increasing interest in data science there is a bigger focus on analysis of process industry data using the latest tools including machine learning, artificial intelligence and predictive modelling.
David will be presenting a talk entitled “Big DOE: Sequential and Steady Wins the Race?” The presentation will explore the impact of machine learning and design of experiments (DOE) to solve industrial research and development challenges that involve screening large numbers of categorical variables, such as in the selection of catalytic systems.
Currently, CatSci is moving towards the digital transformation of the industry: Chemistry 4.0. Technology and big data solutions will be leveraged to support the pharmaceutical industry in exploiting data and enhancing the work that CatSci does to efficiently and effectively deliver innovative solutions for customers.
