Faster, Cleaner, Greener Webinar - Image of Dr Alan Steven

In November 2020, CatSci sponsored a Scientific Update webinar on faster, cleaner and greener chemical development, and why chemistry in micellar and micellar-like media is now a viable option for the future.

The webinar was presented by Dr Alan Steven, Senior Principal Scientist at CatSci, and described the growing successes associated with using micellar(-like) reaction media and polymeric solubilisers for workhorse reactions, and the real and perceived challenges associated with their adoption.

Watch this webinar recording if you are curious about controlling the amount and type of waste generated by manufacturing processes and how chemistry in water can sometimes lead to more selective outcomes than chemistry in organic solvents.
