CatSci To Present at SCI Process Development Symposium

CatSci Ltd, an award-winning innovation partner for medicines development, are pleased to announce that one of our Principal Scientists, Dr Ekaterina (Katya) Melikhova, has been invited to speak at the 39th SCI Process Development Symposium. The Process Development Symposium will take place on 29th – 31st March 2023 at Churchill College, Cambridge.

Katya will be delivering a presentation entitled “Early Process Development and Scale-Up of Orally Active Apomorphine Drug Candidates.” She will explore how the CatSci team were tasked with taking the synthesis of an apomorphine-like drug and designing an optimum way to scale-up the molecule. Katya will demonstrate how CatSci approached this and came up with an innovative solution, focusing on the design of an inherently safe process which was robust and applicable to supply high-quality material to support early clinical studies. The results demonstrate how CatSci was able to achieve significant achievements across all aspects of safety, cost, and robustness, and achieved success at multi-kg scale.

Jenn Clark, our Head of Customer Acquisition, and Jenny Wallis, our Head of Business Development in UK and Japan, will also be attending the SCI Process Development Symposium. They are looking forward to networking with the industry and discussing how you can leverage CatSci to deliver your best-in-class medicines and accelerate your path to clinic.

If you would like to arrange a meeting with Jenn and Jenny, please get in touch now.
