This programme is for MChem graduates with a passion for creating best-in-class therapeutics in a green and cost-effective way looking to begin their career journey with an award-winning, scientifically-led and commercially-minded innovation partner for medicines development.
After the success of the pilot scheme in early 2021, we are pleased to share that the 2022 programme has been revamped to provide graduates with even more support and development opportunities to accelerate their careers. Our Talent Lead and Diversity & Equality Champion, Seb York, and one of our Associate Principal Scientists, Dr Jo Sampson, have been working extremely hard to make this scheme one of the best graduate offerings in the UK. You will get the opportunity to combine full-time employment with a traineeship as the role is centred around personal development. We are committed to individual growth, so you can become a well-rounded and experienced scientist. You will be applying creative and systematic approaches to process, research and development that lead to safe, sustainable, robust and scalable synthetic routes.

Dr. Jo Sampson, one of our Associate Principal Scientists who has been instrumental in bringing the Early Careers Scheme to life, has said: “The 2021 cohort have been a fantastic addition to the CatSci team. It has been wonderful watching them grow in the field of process chemistry, as they learn new skills and techniques, and are mentored by our senior scientists. This talented group of chemists are making valuable contributions to our customer projects, and I look forward to the next cohort who will join CatSci through the Early Careers Scheme in 2022.”
