Founded by scientists and built on innovation, CatSci has continuously adapted to meet the challenges of a changing pharmaceutical landscape.
What began as a specialist catalysis company is now an integrated platform spanning chemistry, analytics, bioscience, and new modalities, supporting drug development from discovery through to commercialisation.
CatSci was founded in 2010 by a team of former AstraZeneca scientists who recognised a growing need in the industry: high-quality, flexible process research and development support for pharmaceutical companies navigating increasingly complex chemistry challenges.
Guided by scientific excellence and a collaborative ethos, CatSci expanded to become a trusted innovation partner, helping customers advance from discovery to commercialisation.

Today, CatSci operates across 14 state-of-the-art laboratories in Cardiff, London, Nottingham, and Strasbourg, working with more than 100 biotechs and 7 of the top 10 global pharma companies.
