Jonathan received his MChem degree and PhD from Durham University, where he worked on the development and application of catalytic C-H borylation reactions. Subsequent post-doctoral studies as the University of Liverpool and Baylor University, Texas, focused on catalytic hydrogen transfer reactions and novel Boron-containing heterocycles.
Upon returning to the UK in 2016, Jonathan worked at Concept Life Sciences as a Senior Chemist, and later Lead Chemist, working on a range of programmes focused mostly on route scouting and optimisation, custom synthesis, and support for pilot plant campaigns.
Jonathan joined CatSci Ltd in 2022. In his role as a Team Manager, he works to enhance the capabilities of the Technical Team so that they can best serve CatSci’s customers.
