CatSci Ltd are incredibly proud to announce that Dr Jerome Th\u00e9obald<\/a> has joined CatSci as our new Chief Operating Officer. Jerome\u2019s appointment is the latest step in CatSci\u2019s evolution as we continue to offer more and better to help our customers navigate complex scientific and manufacturing challenges, adding strategic value to their journey from molecule to medicine.<\/p>\n

Jerome brings with him almost 30 years\u2019 experience in the pharmaceutical market. After obtaining his PhD in Physical Chemistry, Jerome began his career as a Process Development Engineer, and then moved on to Engineering and Production Manager at Novasep. He then advanced to Director of Sales and Marketing to enable him to be closer to the customer needs, before he moved on to Director of Strategic Business Development, where he was integral in the acceleration of the company. Since then, he has held positions as CEO and COO for a number of life science companies, ahead of being appointed as CatSci\u2019s new Chief Operating Officer.<\/p>\n

Following the significant investment from Keensight Captial<\/a>, Jerome will play a key role in supporting and propelling the growth of our core business, including the development of GMP capabilities and the expansion of our offerings in oligonucleotides, material science, pre-formulation and analytical development. He will use his knowledge and expertise to advance CatSci to the next stage of our journey as we move towards becoming a fully integrated innovation partner for medicines development. By harnessing CatSci\u2019s talent, culture, capabilities and offerings, Jerome will be responsible for ensuring that our internal operations run seamlessly. This will enable us to continue offering more and better to our customers to meet their evolving needs.<\/p>\n

Jerome said, \u201cI am excited to be joining the CatSci team and being a part of their evolution. One thing that\u2019s very important to me is retaining the culture and reputation that Catsci has cultivated over the past 11 years, while advancing CatSci to the next stage of their development. My role will be to leverage the talent and cutting-edge science of CatSci in line with the needs of the customers. I look forward to working together with Ross, Simon and the full team to further develop an excellent, high-functioning operation that ultimately will accelerate medicines development.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jerome\u2019s appointment is the latest step in CatSci\u2019s continuous growth as we go from strength-to-strength in our mission to expedite and de-risk the development of new medicines.
