Recently shortlisted for the Cardiff Business Awards Employer of the Year, CatSci is a great place to work.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Location:<\/em><em> Cardiff, UK<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Contract: Permanent, 0.6 FTE to full time, flexible working, to start immediately <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Compensation: \u00a318k &#8211; \u00a325k, including 25 days annual leave (pro rata) and company benefits <\/em><\/p>\n<h1><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>This position will be part of our small finance team and will report directly to a senior member of the team. Tasks may include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Data entry for all aspects of the company\u2019s books<\/li>\n<li>Management of receivables and payables including sales invoicing<\/li>\n<li>Bank statement transaction processing<\/li>\n<li>Processing of employee credit card and out of pocket expense claims<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with monthly accounts preparation<\/li>\n<li>Payroll administration<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of VAT returns<\/li>\n<li>Following internal controls, KPIs and processes ensuring best practice<\/li>\n<li>General administration and ad-hoc reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Knowledge and Skills<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualification or part qualification.
