{"id":12155,"date":"2025-10-22T17:56:52","date_gmt":"2025-10-22T17:56:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/catsci.com\/?post_type=member&#038;p=12155"},"modified":"2025-10-22T18:07:11","modified_gmt":"2025-10-22T18:07:11","slug":"dr-charlotte-dalton","status":"publish","type":"member","link":"https:\/\/catsci.com\/member\/dr-charlotte-dalton\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr Charlotte Dalton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Charlotte achieved her\u00a0MChem\u00a0in Chemistry with Industrial Experience from the University of Manchester in 2012, with a placement in process chemistry at AstraZeneca\u2019s Macclesfield site. She then undertook PhD research in the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology on the chemical synthesis of heparin-like oligosaccharides for single molecule fluorescence applications. After completing her PhD in 2016, Charlotte moved into industry as a scientist at Carbogen\u00a0Amcis\u00a0Manchester.\u00a0In this position,\u00a0she was involved in a range of projects,\u00a0from route scouting to material supply, as well as supporting large scale manufacture on-site. It was during this role that Charlotte developed her keen interest in\u00a0the\u00a0technical leadership of projects,\u00a0and effective customer communication. Subsequently,\u00a0in 2018 she moved to\u00a0Aptuit\u00a0at Milton Park, UK, where she further developed her project leadership skills by supporting the development of other chemists in the team.\u00a0She also gained\u00a0hands-on experience working in a GMP laboratory and leading the technology transfer of GMP processes for plant scale manufacture. In 2019, Charlotte joined\u00a0CatSci\u00a0as a Senior Scientist, before being promoted to her role\u00a0as a Group Leader.\u00a0She is passionate about providing a consultative approach to understand customers\u2019 needs and to deliver on these on time, in full,\u00a0and to\u00a0the desired quality.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":12156,"template":"","member_group":[6],"class_list":["post-12155","member","type-member","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","member_group-chemical-development"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/catsci.com\/api\/wp\/v2\/member\/12155","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/catsci.com\/api\/wp\/v2\/member"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/catsci.com\/api\/wp\/v2\/types\/member"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/catsci.com\/api\/wp\/v2\/media\/12156"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/catsci.com\/api\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=12155"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"member_group","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/catsci.com\/api\/wp\/v2\/member_group?post=12155"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
